    • 3. It was most famous on the BBC micro and caused quite a stir when it was released.

      • Cholo? There's just been a new remake of this one

Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

        • Aha! the Cap is back and no its not Cholo(but thanks for the link ), or the others that have been guessed so far.

so were looking for a 3D vector game released on the BBC(and other/s?), sometime in the 80's(probably early), that was released to critical acclaim(at least the BBC version was).

and no its not Elite - that would have been too easy

I'll post a screenshot clue in a few hours - to give any people coming from work a chance, if it isn't guessed before then.

As a little extra bit of info - i think this was the first game in 'real' 3D that i saw. 3D monster maze on the ZX81 wasn't in quite the same league

              • wow! not a guess in 3days! - i thought the screen shot might put people in the ball park.

Anyway another screenshot - the same as above but unedited, i'm 90% sure it was the electron version(the only other 8bit version of the game besides the much better BBC one).
