Thanks! Great suggestion I´ve got an oven

Beginning glass, bricks and iron production tomorrow (I hope ovens don´t disappear as tools after being used)
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

If it is in the right hand column, no.

Also weren't you gone for a year?

Do oven's disappear as tools? Do machines?

I sell wood for 0.9 ISH, must move to Gold Coast and make a killing!

              No, they don´t disappear-phew!

What´s price of timber in your current town? In GC it´s 25.00 ICH- selling it at 0.9 may not cover production costs

The is some guy in cashington selling a tree for 19, even then it is 25 at the store.
Add in the price of a saw (24-31) and you are looking at 50 boards for about (44-56).

None of my stuff is selling I'm starting to get a little irked. I might try the get my cash down to below 10 so I get the 200 bump from the game engine.

Just look at the position of your shop on the road list- being number 2 after the FED shop is the best, being easy to find grants you newbies ready to pay products any price and people desperately needing for stuff

I cut many logs at a time. 0.05 each plank production cost, 5 trees at a time means it costs 25*5 for the trees, 0.05*250 in production costs and 5+5+0.5+4 to make a saw (iron ore + 5 planks + iron prod cost + saw prod cost). So it costs me 125+12.5+14.5 = 152 to make 250 planks. I can sell for 0.7 and still make a profit

Some people in Centropolis sell for 0.65, though I can't match that.

You're undercut for both wood and gold, so no-one will. If the cheap wood runs out, or if the gold does (I have over 200 of each though ) then people might start buying it, but until then I doubt it.

Who wants to buy 3 engines?

Ok ok I did some little sacrifices and spent all the money building a machine. Engines were turned into pumps, and pumps contributed to the machine building. As soon as I have some cash from bricks and wood sale, I´m flooding Gold Coast with electronics

Ok time to post our progresses after about 2 weeks of play!

I started my miniconomy activity making so many mistakes I wasted tons of money doing things that I still regret for, like building a house right after beginning the game, and building a medium-size shop, and expanding the warehouse. I did all of this buying raw materials for crazy prices at the FED shop.

After this phase I started with wood commerce, used my first earnings to improve skill level so I can make tons of wood logs with silly exp. Competition began, so I was forced to drop prices below 1 ISH. For some reason, every other player went bankrupt (I wonder why, when you buy at 2, have operative costs of 2 and sell at 0.80) so I´m currently the only retailer of wood and bricks in Main Road. I built a car that is currently parked outside city as the mayor of Gold Coast didn´t build any civic infrastructure yet.

I used my last week´s money to get an oven and a machine, I had to expand the warehose and the shop again (machine and iron need sth like 8 squist of empty space in warehouse), and now I´m starting to build an alarm, or a telephone. Or a computer. Or build an Apolyton club.

Some funny thing happened yesterday. I put for sale some pieces of plastic and glass at a lower price than the FED shop, and some clever player bought it from my shop and started to sell it 10 ISH lower. Good move, really

Right now I have a warehouse full of profucts, and shop as well, so I want to help some unlucky apolytoner building his commercial empire as well. If you need anything just send me a miniconomy sms or post here, I´ll sell you my stuff for a low price just because it´s you, ok? At least 50% discount, promised
