Take the tram from Ironforge to Stormwind (it's free). The forests outside Stormwind are lush green.

The IF area is the gnome/dwarf starting area, SW is the human starting area, and Darnassus is the Night Elf starting area.

The free tram connects IF <--> SW, Darnassus is a pain to get to until you're a higher level.

Is it just me, or is the level 30-40 range one of the most difficult and boring in the game?

If the "challange" is to overcome a tedium, yes.

The biggest example of tedium are your posts, Ludd.

It's only difficult because it's so boring.

That must be why you can't help but reply to them. Such a glutton for tedium - a true MMORPG fan.

Reroll Horde. It's a far more rewarding experience.

I'll try a Horde character next. I always play a fighter in my first try at any new RPG, mainly because the learning curve is lower.

Still, it is a fun game. I met some cool people. I tend to be kind and help out others in trouble, and I don't quarrel over treasure (because I don't really care), so I have a good rep so far.

There are a few twits, though. I was attacking a gnoll camp and there were 6 characters standing around waiting. I pulled the gnolls (it was a group) expecting the others to pile on, and only one person helped. We both got killed for it. You wonder about the character of some people....

                              Prog shot.

I particularly like how my axe glistens when sharpened. It's a real killer for this level, and has won a few admirers among similar leveled players.
