The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
It's not worth more because it only doubles experience, it doesn't fast-forward you 1.5 levels. If it takes two minutes to get to level 2.5, then it would take one minute. If it takes 20 hours to get to 60 from 57.5, then it would take 10 hours, assuming you have that much of a rest bonus.
So this seems to be the list so far of where you guys are:
Jon Miller - Shadowsong (or "something like")
Sharpe, Arnelos, GodKing, Genghis Farb, Big Dork - Argent Dawn, Shadow Council
Lord Nuclear - Doomhammer
Lul Thyme - Illidian
BustaMike - Bonechewer
Qilue - Proudmore
Blake - Warsong
Agathon - Perenolde, Spirestone, Dark Iron
Asher - Nathrezeim, Boulderfist
Verto, I believe some of the MZO'ians are not currently playing anymore, but I can't remember who exactly.
Actually of that list, only Arnelos has left (and ZargonX) - GodKing, Genghis Farb and myself are all active along now with conmcb25 as one of our new members. BigDork is only occasional with us as his main is on another server.
"Yay Apoc!!!!!!!" - bipolarbear
"At least there were some thoughts went into Apocalypse." - Urban Ranger
"Apocalype was a great game." - DrSpike
"In Apoc, I had one soldier who lasted through the entire game... was pretty cool. I like apoc for that reason, the soldiers are a bit more 'personal'." - General Ludd
That's because Shaman need to be hit with the nerf bat, hard.
"The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
Ben Kenobi: "That means I'm doing something right. "
Nah. It's because the Alliance is full of 13 year olds who roll Night Elf rogues.
In most of the games I played last night I was the only Shaman and I was by far the lowest lvl in the game most of the time. IIRC every class has movement restricting abilities, which are the most important in WSG. The Hunter's ability to do this at a distance along with his pet makes them the best WSG class IMHO.
In every Horde WSG game I've played the group immediately sets up a raid. In the Alliance games I've played this almost never happens.
The Horde typically set up two parties, one for defence and one for offence. The Alliance mill around chaotically trying to get HKs. If I find myself nowhere near my party I will solo at the nearest group of Alliance until I get killed. They must think I'm an idiot. Joke's on them. While 4 or 5 of them are mobbing the lonely green shaman for an HK, 3 or 4 Horde team members are left unmolested to grab their flag. They also don't seem to remember that the point of WSG if you aren't the flag carrier is to slow down the movement of the opposition as much as possible.
The Alliance are usually so disorganized that they appear in mobs of 2-3 players. A party that mostly sticks together will be able to beat them easily, since it's a number stacking game.
If anything really needs nerfing, it is the rogue's stealth ability.
I recentely sold my account because I got bored - don't get me wrong, WoW is not a game that one easily gets bored of, here is a list of the toons, only the highest of each class listed...
lvl60 Female Tauren Druid
lvl60 Male Troll Warrior
lvl58 Female Troll Rogue
lvl46 Female Human Mage
lvl45 Male Orc Warlock
lvl44 Male Troll Shaman
lvl31 Female Dwarf Hunter
lvl30 Male Undead Priest
lvl11 Male Human Paladin
I also have (had) about another half dozen characters in the under lvl25 range. If you wonder about the gender distribution of my toons, when I choose a female it's usually because the male is too buff for that class, for example the human male looks like he spends way too much time at the gym to be a mage (like, he'd have no time to pore over dusty tomes of ancient wisdom). I also tend to like my toons tough and scrawny which is probably why so many are trolls. (If only trolls could be druids...)
Certain race/class combos also look retarded. For example Male Troll and Male Human rogues have a "Pretend you can't see me, thanks!" look when stealthing. The Female Orc wand cast animation is bad enough to make you want to lifetap yourself to death (luckily the only wand-using female orcs are warlocks and thus suicide is always an option) - if you want to know what it looks like (as no-one rolls female orc warlocks, and if they do, they wont use thier wand) - most toons bend their arm at the shoulder when casting a wand. The female orc bends her arm at the knees.
So anyway, I'm not playing WoW anymore. I'd done and seen everything and all that was left felt like Groundhog Day. When the expansion comes out I'll probably buy the game again.
