Whoo! I think they did something to the Monkey eye shine in 1.66, neh? Gotta see that, though I fear I won't be able to run tonight.
My job has also shat all over my circadian rhythm, so I can't play late at night like previously.

Jam, when you do your version, could you make Dire Charm available as a scroll before you reach Sorcerous Sundries? It's the best way to take on the sirines, but you can't buy it that early in the game, so have to resort to reloading.
