I guess I haven't checked since they scaled back from 100 to 50.
Spore looks too good to be true. I'm really impressed but I can't remember any game that met these kind of expectations.
MGS:4 was a weird video. Apparently they've been building these massive mechs just so they can stomp and kick enemy soldiers.
CC3 looked about the same as the others. I liked Red Alert a lot but the CC games are meant to be fast and small scale and that's really not the way I like my RTS. Still, they craft nice campaigns. The AI usually blows though.I never know their names, But i smile just the same

They need to make a new version of SimEarth. PCs are way more powerful now then they were when SimEarth debuted so the simulation can be way more realistic (the huge increse in our knoledge of paleoclimates and how the biosphere and geosphere interact in general doesn't hurt either, the assumption applied in the game that oxygen levels never eceeded 25% has been proven wrong). Maybe they could use Spore-like creature-creation elements in a new version to make the biology element of the simulation more interesting.Comment

As I see it, Spore is the new SimEarth.
Oh, and I agree, SimEarth was a great game. I still sometimes load it up and play some in the sandbox mode.

After watching: Looks more impressive than previous videos, I am especially interested in the Civilization phase; I wonder if this game is customizable enough to make it similar to Sids.
