Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
now I'm really stuck at this bridge. i got myself up to level 6, which seemed like a fairly high level. I was able to kill the main guy, but his 2 big buddies drain all my stamina with their hits, and subsequently kill Virgil and myself. I don't have enough pursuasion to try any other way. This battle is just hard.
You can always get it another way. Persuasion is only usefull if you want to get paid to pass the bridge. You may work for the thugs rather than fight them, or pay them (robbing the bank might help here, but then you'd rather hurry up a bit afterwards).
Grenades are great. If it's an explosive one, you will hurt an opponent a lot. If it's a stunning grenade you can get rid of 2 of them so you can hopefully kill the third one during that time. You may also try to use dynamite, but it's more tricky to get the opponents caught in the blast and not you, as they'll start fighting immediately. And of course Virgil is likely to get caught in the blast.
If grenades don't work, go buy some stuff at the gypsy. She probably has interesting stuff like a potion of speed. If she has one, buy it. Hitting two or three times as often will help you a lot. You can also buy some potions to regenerate stamina(since the ogres tend to stun rather than hurt) both for yourself and Virgil.

hey I got it. It took me a couple of tries. The last time I threw an explosive grenade at one of the ogres and got him out of the fight quickly. then used my axe on the other ogre, and finally the thief.
so I picked up this large leather armour, but they have abbreviations I'm not familiar with. What is NP and FR? I know AC is armour class and DR is damage reduction.
I'm not sure I can wear it anyways, since it is for large bodies and I'm a half orc which I believe is in the medium builds.
now I have to figure out what to do with all this junk I'm carrying. I never seem to have any inventory room. I'm carrying junk like railroad spikes, rusty daggers, some kind of coin. I have no idea what to do with this junk.
Sell it at a pawn shop, or throw it away in a trashcan.

I've made some decent progress. Though those folks in Dernholm sure go hostile on me at a moments notice. I've had to reload a few times. And that sir Garrick, I can't get anything out of him. I didn't get much done there. I'm in Blackroot right now.
NP = Noise Penalty, FR = Fire Resistance.
Just sell or don't pick up junk.
Junk stuff like railroad spikes are useful for some schematics if you play tech.

yeah, search in trashcans for cloths for molotov cocktails...that's the most useful thing in there usually.

Hmmm, this game has escaped my attention too. Seems to be fairly cheap, and it looks interesting.

I'm an obsessive compulsive collector of junk in RPGs, for you never know when you might need something. I wish RPGs would limit the amount of stuff you can find, so when you did get something, it would seem more valuable. I'm playing Knights of the Old Republic at the moment, and 90% of all the junk I have is never used.
