I did like diablo2 even though that was a mindless action/rpg style game.

Indeed you are capped at 20, but i'm not sure expansions will allow you to go beyond that, although i can't say i'm the most well versed. They promise that expansions won't be necessary to play the game, they'll just open up new areas to play in and new equipment/classes/races.

Inevitably the new expansions will contain better equipment and will be necessary if you want to PvP, which is the main feature of the game.

Just read a few reviews on this and it looks really good. I might even make it my next major game ahead of WoW.
