I had lots of water, just the moments of madness were annoying anyway

Not to mention those nasty snipers, they do quite a bit of damage before I can close to melee them, even with haste.

I'll go back when I'm more uber though. Sneak attacks with those swords strike me as entertaining.

Oh yeah, I was going to complain about losing a certain item to continue a certain quest, but then I started playing around some more with my hide in plain sight ability and offed a couple "impossible" rated barbarians. Why are they hostile anyway, different tribe than my character?

Now there's an idea... a downloadable SP version of Folderol would "work"

Would it be the same or would there be some differences? If it's the same, I'd probably try to avoid downloading in a likely feeble attempt to not spoil the fun of folderol (I'm weak and would probably run through with my level 39 character just to see stuff and then lose all the long term fun)

Is this Folderol thingummy available as an actual downloadable module for non-internet SP or does it exist solely as one of those persistant worlds?

I think it is against the spirit though.

Also, unless the story is stronger now it would be a weak SP module.

Well any SP version would have to have a story overlaid to lead you around the world and to offer a conclusion at the end. That would be a nice substantial project

I still think it is against the spirit to experience stuff in no risk SP.

One of these days I have to try online play. Currently I'm just about to finish HotU though Paradox just released a new patch for Hearts of Iron 2 so I'll likely be playing that for a while.

Like the kukri master there are a lot of those super dupper munchkin builds who would survive to reach munchkin status if they actually had to play up to the point they were super powerful.

What are some good modules? I don't remember what I have or if I played them, but more never hurts, right?

On the contrary, it is playing through SP that would spoil things.

Tales of the Celts is quite intricate.

                              SP is risk-free?
You evidently haven't seen the way I play. Complete and utter ineptitude incarnate.
Everytime I go to load a savegame my poor sorcerer (now up to the dizzying heights of level 4, after having finally escaped that deathtrap hellhole of an academy in the main campaign) hides in my PC, praying that I'll load up one of those pre-generated character thingummies instead ...

Not to mention modifying certain parts so non-DM players can't gain an unfair advantage on the PW version.

Of course I hope you don't think that I'm implying that DM players have an unfair advantage on the PW.
