I imagine the idea was that they could expand the pay-to-beta-test commercial model to include console gamers.

I'm just wondering how they will get forums on the console so people can complain about the game afterwards.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

I am quite sure console game developers are aware of this fact.

Which got me thinking: In terms of population, what do Americans define as cities. 100,000 - 1,000,000 - what?

I define it as 100,000 people.

A fact not overlooked I'm sure.

1,000,000. Any less and it's a small town.

1,000,000 is a medium sized city, 100,000 to 1,000,000 is a small city.

Las Vegas only has about 900,000 peopel within city limits (not including suburbs). I'd like you to come here and say it's not a city as you sit in traffic for hours.

                      Suburbs count.

1,000,000 is tiny. Ever been to, for instance, St. Louis? It has over 2,000,000, and it barely qualifies for the name.

I don't want to see your definition of medium then.

2 million is quite a bit. That's about average for a city actually. Not too many cities exceed 4 million.

If you want to live in NYC, Mexico City, or Tokyo go right ahead. I don't want to live there.
