  • Business Sims

Anybody have any favorite biz sims? I'm looking for something that isn't hard on the specs, hard on the numbers (financials), and isn't too cutesy. I'm currently enjoying Monopoly Tycoon, which redeems its cartoony graphics with fast gameplay and surprising depth.

However, it's not really a business sim...

    Thanks!

Monopoly Tycoon Indeed a great game, I may have to go back and play it again for once.

As for any "true" business sims, I really can't help you out there...

I'm enjoying Theme Hospital, but I don't think that is the level of seriousness you are after.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

I never got into Monopoly Tycoon... I got it from some cornflakes package a long time ago

I love Theme Hospital, too bad I've never got the MP part working
This space is empty... or is it?

I used to play with some university Pal's a while back and liked it, but that may be more related to them than the Game ;=)

Industry Giant 2. I found it a bit dry and abstract after Railroad Tycoon 2 so i guess that makes it a business sim. The Patrician series was also pretty heavy on the business side. Port Royale (1 or 2) although you might find the Pirate theme distracts from the business.

There's also Vegas:Make it big which is by the same team that did Monopoly. Probably counts as cutesy though. Also still at the cutesy end - Tropico.

WTF, no do not go there....that game is way too cool to be a business sim.

Business sims do not rely on joystick skillz.
We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

Quite boring as a game, though.

Unless you own your own business, just play at work. After all, it's not your money you're playing with, right?
