      Check out Victoria:

Paradox Interactive is a world leading PC games publisher known for games such as Cities: Skylines, Europa Universalis and Crusader Kings.

      It's also a Paradox game.
      XBox Live: VovanSim
      xbox.com (login required)
Halo 3 Service Record (I fail at FPS...)

Thx, but the second link doesn't work and the wiki doesn't answer the question that's most important for me (ok, maybe it does, but I can't find it anywhere):
Where does it take place? Europe? America? Do you start from scratch or like in EU2?
This space is empty... or is it?

          2. What is your gaming platform of choice (aside from the PC)?

None! PC is the only true way. But there is no such answer. So I had to go with handheld, as that is as far from the evil of consoles as it gets from the choices presented.
          Exactly.

Col2. If it's done well. I loved Col1 when it came out, and would buy Col2 in a minute, done well. As in, different enough from Civ/SMAC style to be more than just a fancy scenario.

Like most Paradox games, it covers the entire world and you start in the historical positions that the countries where in.

You "start from scratch" in Imperialism, however. There is an Imperalism 1 & 2, you might be able to find either one floating around on the web as abandonware.

Ok, then it's not really my type of game

Heh, I bought Pirates when it came out and have yet to install and play it.

                        • Looks like you two (any of the above and Dis) need to get together and exchange ownership statii then ...

I have yet to buy it AND probably don't intend to play it, so I'm out of the loop.
