    • 1. Late '80's Amiga and Atari ST (although I swore the game was on c64, spent quite a bit of time looking for it on c64 websites).
      2. This is my kind of game.
      3. Clue 2 might refer to a thread I recently started in this very forum.
      4. Less stellar.
      5. By less stellar, I mean not in space.
      6. You have the right thread for the type of game, but it is not a 4x space game.

Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

Yes. but your guess was post. Just trying to narrow the window. And it is actually more clue than you give credit for.

                      • Colonisation was later. I can't think of a precursor to Civ - it was just so original.

                        • Again, precursor means that parts of this game went into civ.
