well it can't be an infocom title.....Lord of the rings?Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

grr, this is annoyingly familiar, but i have a feeling i've played games BASED on this combat model etc. rather than this one, given i didn't really start playing games until after this period of time by 4-5 years ...<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.
I like your SNOOPY POSTER! - While you Wait quote.

I still do not have a clue, but here is a summary of those given.
Clue 1: You must stop your foe before he manages to accomplish something that will give him total power.
Clue 2: Spectrum and related platforms. Mid 80s.
Clue 3: no graphics in this game.
Clue 4: Your foe has discovered an important tomb, and is hiding in a labyrinth until he can unlock its powers.
Clue 5: The game is replayable as you can play as three sorts of character, all of which have strengths and weaknesses.
Clue 6: The combat model in the game takes place in rounds, with one action for each player. After each round you can continue or flee.
Clue 7: RPG with 3 classes, priest, warrior, wizard. Your adversary (an evil wizard) is hiding in a (gasp) dungeon type environment. We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.
