              • grr, this is annoyingly familiar, but i have a feeling i've played games BASED on this combat model etc. rather than this one, given i didn't really start playing games until after this period of time by 4-5 years ...

                  • Clue 7: RPG with 3 classes, priest, warrior, wizard. Your adversary (an evil wizard) is hiding in a (gasp) dungeon type environment.

                    • I still do not have a clue, but here is a summary of those given.

                      Clue 1: You must stop your foe before he manages to accomplish something that will give him total power.

                      Clue 2: Spectrum and related platforms. Mid 80s.

                      Clue 3: no graphics in this game.

                      Clue 4: Your foe has discovered an important tomb, and is hiding in a labyrinth until he can unlock its powers.

                      Clue 5: The game is replayable as you can play as three sorts of character, all of which have strengths and weaknesses.
