  • meany!

i was thinking of a 'Jinxter' type of game, but it involved Fish and a text+graphic adventure.

the name of the game is Fish! by magnetic scrolls(did Jinxter too). I never played it, which was why i was struggling; but i could see the cover of the game in my mind.

EDIT: kinda too obvious a name to just guess outright, still heres the moby info:
Inter-Dimensional Espionage. Inter-Dimensional... because you can "warp" into the body of a living thing in this or any other dimension. Espionage... because there are good guys and bad. And you're a good one... with years under your belt and a...

The game didn't make me want to buy it, but the cover was odd enough to be memorable.

The moby info mentions the 'seven deadly fins' so i go ahead and post a long clue1 to keep you happy for 7days.

To be fair, that last game guessed did offer me
the name of this game - so now tis down to thee."

Came out on a few(not all) of the 8bits during the 80's from a company that for a number of years produced many titles on these systems.

It has an underwater theme like the preivious game.

Happy guessing and see you in 7.

      • Congrats CoT it is indeed Fish!. A text adventure game by Magnetic Scrolls. A pretty good one at that because it you had to start off with 3 mini adventures.

But first you had to figure a way to get out of the goldfish bowl.
Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.
