That's because I crashed and so my max speed was decreased. It means now at the beginning of the turn I have to do a B to go down to safe speed for my wrecked car.

AND I"VE DECIDED TO CHANGE MY CRASH RULE FOR THE 2nd and 3rd lap. I'm going to stack both racers in the same spot instead of one behind the other. Having to avoid the oil from the back spot didn't work out like i thought. Seriously though - I think the amount of crashes in this game has added to the excitement Perhaps lowering the penalty a bit more and then making them more likely is a good idea? (For example, have a one lap qualifier, determining starting position, and then have a 3 car wide (sometimes 2 car wide) track...)
For that matter, and this is purely as someone who's not watched FG: Nascar 1-8, have you tried round, shorter tracks, with more laps? It would seem to me that might end up with more excitement as well (ie more crashes/crash avoidance, and more relevance to pitting can be given, etc.)?<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

I am sure glad you included that rule about anyone getting hit 6 times or more on one lap and then going through the pitts gets an automatic shield of invulnerability for the following lap
(too bad for Vovan that it doesn't apply to him
