I am warning you now: I have put up my third and final shield. If you attack me and lose to my shield again, you will be the laughing stock of this game. So please, if you want to provide me with endless amusement, attack my shield a third time. Go on. I dare you.

Orders not yet sent..........because i have a question
Suppose the game has say........15 players left, including an alliance of DrSpike and GeneralTacticus, plus Whoha and Thiben (among others).
If DrSpike and GeneralTacticus agree on an allied attack against Thebun but GeneralTacticus sends in his orders 1st of the 15 players, and DrSpike sends in his orders last of the 15 players and Whoha also attacks Theeben but sends in his orders 7th out of 15, which attack would be processed first?
Whoha versus Theban
Then
DrSpike/GeneralTacticus versus the survivor of Whoha/Teeben
OR
DrSpike/GeneralTacticus versus Thebeen
Then
Whoha versus the survivor(s)??
Not that it matters, I just don't understand the LIFO system of attacks
/me
Edit: and no it is not a coincidence that I choose for everyone to attack Theben in the above example but I did deliberately choose players not in this game

About the last-in, first-out system:
This system was devised I believe to give those who send orders in early an advantage, especially since the "attack anyone who's there" tactic was introduced midway through GO I.
With alliances, the last ally to send is the one that matters. Thus, DrSpiek and GT would fight first.
With order revisions, changes to OoB or ships being sent don't effect the sequence. This is mostly because I on average have to make about 4 to 6 clarifications per turn and keeping tabs on everything would be far too messy. The number is only reset to the end when a new target is specified, or when an alliance is formed.
In case you wonder what my end of the interface looks like, this is the attack data from the last round (#4). 1 is the first to send, the highest number the last to send.
Note that I don't process the turn in the same sequence as orders are sent, only with multiple attackers on one target are the numbers put to use.
