XBOX cable recall(fire hazard!)

Well i did need a new power cord. I always switch my xbox off when its not being used, so i should be ok untill it arrives - i found myself checking it every couple of hrs yesterday, to see if i could smell burning but it seemed ok.
Its a pretty good and easy replacement service they have set up. Qudos to Microsoft, a rare sentiment?

True.....very true! Still i'm amazed this has only become an issue now - i got my xbox in 2002, thats a good few years its had to burn my house down
