I'm sure I don't remember which came first. Just that one is a cheap knockoff of the other ...
Tarrasque absolutely mopped the floor with me in that mission where it just kept spawning.
Then I remembered the new terran super unit. The medic. Made things much easier.
Tiamat was a baddie dragon in ancient Babylonian mythology, it was eventually conquered by young Marduk with the help of gods.

Spoiler:
"Once you've gotten your defenses up, simply build a bunch of siege tanks - ten or twelve or so is a good number, although even less probably works, and divide them into two groups."
I used three groups, with 6 tanks each. I didn't take many risks in the terrain campaign: Always started each scenario by building defender buildings, stockpiled resources, built 50 best units or so, then swarmed my opponents.
Starcraft single player campaigns are so boring, particularly the "civil war" parts.

I don't play Starcraft multiplayer, too much of a click-fest for me.

There are a slew of mods that can add hundreds of new units to TA. It's a great game - especially now with the mdos available, but Starcraft still reigns supreme.
whats with all this confederate - southern - redneck style for the Terrans? At first i thought "confederacy"was just a name like federation - and didnt ty it to the accents of Duke and Arcturus (after all Raynor has no such accent) and the guys in the truck video. And some of the ingame response voices. But in one of the other films theres a confederate battle flag on a space ship, and then we get New Gettysburg (misspelled in one place). So this is based on an alternative history in which the South won the American Civil War (with the battle of Gettysburg as the point of departure? why else name a base after a Yankee town?) And the CSA goes on to found the earth based interstellar empire (I presume at some point we will learn why the HQ is Talonis, and not Earth)
When I figured this out, at first i thought it was cool, a kind of alternative approach to the usual slick high tech cosmopolitan Star trek Scifi setting - at last, red necks in space (And even some attention to DIFFERENT southern accents and styles) But as I go on its starting to feel a little cheesy. Your thoughts? and please no spoilers, i havent finished the terran campaign, ive just reached the point where its becom clear
Spoiler:
Arcturus wants power for himself.

Get a real game like Kohan, Warlords Battlecry III, or Total Annihilation.
Kohan is on my list.
Im not so sure about TA - ive heard lots of serious RTS folks like it, but its still mainly an MP game though, isnt it, and still largely a clickfest. is that a wrong impression?
