Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I assume centurion Tenga doesnt want Garfunks head? He told me to kill a bloody hard goblin, and I did just that......poxy centurions. I would give him a right good twatting if it wasnt for him being invunerable and all
Give the head to either Captain Yogi or Archdruid McPhee for DA PHAT REWARDZ.
Tenga won't take a head and let you into Eastorling untill I'm finished making Eastorling really kicking rad 'n' cool.

Jamski, yeah those look like good builds while if I had one complaint about my build its that she has so few skill points. Paladins onoly get 2 + INT Mod per level so this is a skill weak character. I went with a human to get the bonus feat and the extra skill points because I really needed them. Inrestrospect the Sorcerer should be the first level then I'd get 7 more skill points.
The alternate build, which would likely be better in MP or PvP, would be a Fighter/Bard/RDD. That build has way more skill points & feats but lacks the clerical abilities of the Paladin and has fewer spells. Still the idea of a character with a half dozen extra feats (enough to get whirl wind attack which would be devistating with my improved critical) and 100-150 extra skill points is pretty attractive. Still, for single player a Paladin/Sorcerer/RDD is pretty damn good.
Is anyone interested in an online game? I'd like to see if we couldn't get a party here at Apolyton and maybe go through a few modules or even one of the official games.
I can't even figure out how to get the MP version to work without the game crashing. Seriously, it can't be my system since every gaqme I own other the NWN works fine on MP but the two times I've tried to login for a MP game the whole thing just crashes. It's weird since I can play SP without a hitch.
I was visiting Bioware's NWN2 forums and so far it is looking like it will be little more then a minor face lift of the current engine with a few more skills, prestige classes, and characfgter races added it. Well, they will toss in Psyonics which I've never liked but there should be no revolutionary or even evolutionary changes. This is unfortunate.
The basic game engine was introduced with Baldur's gate 1 and hasn't changed much since. True, they've added in more tile sets and neat features like hidden doors (How on Earth could they consider building D&D games without secret or hidden doors?) but they still have serious issues with MP. As discusion in this thread has shown the process to host a MP game isn't the most intuitive and could stand some improvement. Other game manufacturers such as Paradox Interactive allow players to host thier own game as long as they know their own IP address (which is easily found using standard windows features). Why can't Bioware do this? I know their engine is pushing 5 years old but evolution is the key to staying competitive and there are numerous other RPGs on the market which offer easier to use and more immersive systems.
It's just my $0.02 but I'd say that's where Bioware needs to concentrate if they want to increase their core audience. The future is online MP and right now Bioware is no where near first place.

I should mention that even though NWN2 is on Bioware forums, it's not actually being developed by bioware. It used to be on the Obsidian forums, I don't know why they moved it. Obsidian is developing NWN2, not bioware.
Bioware is working on Jade Empire console game (already released) and Dragon Age.
It's been months since I last played and having reinstalled NWN, I was wondering how much has changed in terms of items?
I'm not sure when you last played but HotU has tons of items, classes, skills, feats, and prestige classes which were not in NWN. I bought NWN Palatium Edition because it was cheaper then buying both of the expansion packs plus you got several Bioware modules included. You still have to buy a few if you want to have all of them but all in all it is a good purchase.
Game play wise much has changed. The basic interface is the same but their are now secret doors, new skills, new feats, even new prestige classess. You will find the characters you built in the OC or in SoU are no longer maximized so you will need to build new PCs. The extra features in the engine are well worth the effort though as long as you are willing to spend the time.

Even though I posted lots of times to explain what the group needed to do.

She asked a question about Folderol. Folderol is an online server run by Jamski and others, so you didn't answer at all.

Well... I'd estimate there's at least been 30 or 40 new items a month over the last few months, some hidden very nicely, some in stores, many on monsters. Was there any specific type of item you wanted to know about? I'd rather not give out huge lists, half the fun is fining what there is to be found
I uploaded 14 new areas on the Easter weekend, so they'll definitely be new

Thank god they're not trying to reinvent the wheel. I'll be more than happy with a simple touch-up job on NWN.
