to me, still one of the great games that i go back to(although mostly I tend to play FFE) - they don't make em like this anymore.

hmmm, well in my last game space was blue, not black like in those screenshots, so maybe my current install of FFE is not JJFFE'd? Ah yes there was something about prefering the DOS mode in the end, rather than running in windows - smoother contols i think? I think i still have the JJFFE files around somewhere, so i might have to give then another go as there were definate advantages using them(although less smooth display).
