    Shadoworlds? http://www.classicgaming.com/amigareviews/shadowor.htm

and the prequel was 'Shadowlands', which i just about prefered out of the two.http://www.classicgaming.com/amigare...#shadowlandsaj

    [Mobygames seems to be down?]

I loved both games, they used the moody lighting effects in a really unique way at the time. It spawned a few immitators, but these were the best.

                  • Commander Keen?
Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

                            • wow! yes you got it

Its was Frak! one of my fond early platform experiences on my buddy's BBC micro

Huge detailed sprites for the time, and very tricky platform jumping. I liked 'Trogg' the caveman you controlled

I'm even surprised that someone actually knows about Frak! It isn't the world most known platformer although its got a cultstatus. In fact I only learned about it after I saw a 3d version of frak! for the Archimedes once.
