  • Wood is the lifeblood of any empire. You should have a set of two woodcutters with a forrester in the middle very near the start of every game. Extra woodcutters cutting down existing forests will still be necessary - you will be using lots of wood. But that steady early supply of wood is extremely important.

    Note that you can get extra production out of your forrester by removing the road from the front of his house. Once he is in his house the road has no more use.
    I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

        You might still be able to win the game. Just try to close all other places where wood is needed (best by destroying the roads. That way if wood is on the way it wont arrive) then build a forrester next to the woddcutter, hoping you still have enough wood around...
