Turn 7 - Theben's math: Give 2 ships, get 2 bases


This turn began with another sneak attack by GeoModder of the Trabe. He hoped he could surprise Captain Kassiopeia Janeway once more. But Kassiopeia can only be tricked once. GeoModder’s stormtroopers found the bases deserted and quickly occupied them. Captain Janeway evaded her enemies once more. Hail to her superior intuition

And where was Kassiopeia Janeway’s fleet? On an allied mission against the most powerful magnate of the delta quadrant, Kazon Pommar First Maje Minnis Theben. I bet he didn’t see this coming as his orders this turn seemed to cover every possibility except this one.


Battle No.1: Skanky Burns and Kassiopeia attack Theben

Needless to say, Theben’s defensive fleet is overwhelmed and his 11 (!!) bases are captured by the allies. Skanky Burns gets the odd base because he sent his orders first.

The allies were somewhat disappointed their loyal ally joncha failed to show and they wondered why that was the case. They learned later that Species 8472 had infected joncha’s main command computers with some kind of advanced virus which destroyed all subroutines and left Kazon Nistrim fleet stranded for 33 hours until their engineers reinstalled the entire system. This delay would prove fatal.

Indeed, for the most unlikely alliance was formed this turn. Leader of the Species 8472, Smiley understood the only way his species could avoid extinction was to ally with his former adversary (!!!) Theben (!!!!). Their target was Kazon Nistrim sect and they made sure their target stayed home using Smiley’s advanced viruses (it seems viruses are all that is left to him). Still, they were in for a fight.

Curiously joncha didn’t repair his damaged ship (?)

Joncha loses all torpedo ships and almost all carrier ships. Smiley loses his carrier frigate and Theben loses his carrier cruiser and one carrier dreadnaught and his other carrier dreadnaught is damaged. The battle continues to the death.

48L – 28L – joncha takes 20 hits
48L – 28L – joncha takes 20 hits

Joncha suffers incredible amount of damage and the rest of his fleet is unable to withstand the ensuing round of combat.

Joncha is eliminated.
