        I assume that Theben is wondering if Spaced gets back his original "Self Built" bases that he would be able to build ships again, but I think this was dealt with last game when Spike tried to do the same thing and was unable to reclaim his bases and consider them "self-built".

        The question seems moot.

          Ah yes, quite right. I was under the impression that re-capturing your bases would allow one to get 'their' bases back. I guess it's once captured, always captured.

              The bases have since been repainted, and the log data was "lost" in an unfortunate weapons testing accident.
              Such is life.
