Turn 4 - Four way times two


The Pralor automated units (Spaced Cowboy) have enlisted another Kazon faction to their aid. It was the Kazon Pommar faction led by First Maje Minnis Theben. Now we have a four-way alliance attacking three Kassiopeia’s Arrays. Someone is going to get out of this strange deal empty-handed.

Well, the Pralors didn’t really need so huge armada for such an easy prey like those undefended Kassiopeia’s Arrays. They could have occupied them on their own, particularly since once again their allies failed to agree on an allied order of battle, which could have affected the outcome of the battle if the battle had actually been fought. SC’s so called allies also failed to agree on a distribution of captured bases, so the three former Kassiopeia’s Arrays will be distributed as follows:

GeoModder gets one base.
Spaced Cowboy gets one base.
Sparrowhawk gets one base.
Theben sent his orders last so he doesn’t get a single base.

They captured and divided up the bases, but found no trace of either Federation technology or any member of Voyager crew. No wonder they didn’t find any ship there. Having exhausted the stock of her shields, it was obvious Captain Kassiopeia Janeway would be on the move. But who would be her target?

Her target and the target of another four-way alliance is Spaced Cowboy. Indeed, Captain Janeway has been trying real hard to form a counter-alliance, one that would provide security for her travel through the quadrant.

Medical experiments showed that Klingon DNA was resistant to terrible phage, so the Vidiians joined Kassiopeia’s alliance in exchange for some of B’Elanna Torres’s genetic material.

One member of Kassiopeia’s crew, Ensign Seska married First Maje Joncha Culluh of the Kazon Nistrim sect and the Kazon allied with Voyager.

The ruined Kazon Ogla sect saw only hope of survival in the alliance.

But Spaced Cowboy left significant force home. He failed to instruct them on their order of battle however, so they decided to use the order of battle of his attacking fleet.

Skanky Burns loses 3 torpedo battleships and his fourth torpedo battleship is damaged. On the other hand, Spaced Cowboy’s defending fleet is destroyed and the allies capture all of his bases. The bases are distributed in the following manner:

Skanky Burns gets 3 bases because he sent his orders first;
Joncha gets 2 bases;
Kassiopeia gets 2 bases;
Jamski gets 2 bases.

Mmm, fleets were not allowed to be used/transfered by allies anymore. Doesn't this make at least Jam's participation invalid?

This game is getting really ****ed up. I mean, a four way alliance to attack me, isn't that a bit excess? It's not like I have a huge armada or anything.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing a xenophobia version, AKA no alliances.

That might be a good idea for a change... or maybe an upper limit on alliance sizes? Although I want to see how this one plays out, first.
