Despite my suspicisions, and even the dire situation in which I seem to be, I wish not to forward a vote to a second member of the party.

I refuse to cast my vote for the death of a human being without concrete evidence.

On that note, please excuse me; I'd like to finish getting my cameras set up. If you need me, I should be in my room, around the doors, or in one of the stairways.

I would not have liked to cast a vote either, but these two are apparently intent on taking my life - I can not allow for this to happen, of course, and I suspect that such bloodthirst on their part is a possible indication of something very sinister.

So that's eight for dinner and seven or eight for breakfast.

I 'd better go find that mock turtle for the soup starter. The main course will be spit roast suckling pig with bramley apple sauce and seasonal vegetables and garlic of course. Desert will be Hercules homemade Creme Brule.

Meanwhile gentlemen I have left afternoon tea and selection of sandwichs in the conservatory for those who wish partake of a small repast.

btw, rules question - what do we with ties in such a situation? We apparently want two people dead, but there doesn't seem to be any agreement on who the second person should be.

No. They would have to draw straws, sorry.

p.s. I have to go out of town today, and will not be back until about 11pm tonight. d'Heresson and Gunner still have time to vote until around 1pm today. After that please feel free to choose whatever method to terminate the ones you believe to be the vampires.

                      • Yes, that's what we'll do. I'll write a password protected file with the word "live" or "die" in there and let them choose, if there is a need. However, you can always go ahead to kill the first one.

                          • Mr. Gunner walked briskly to his room. As he walked in the doorway, he closed the door hastily behind him. Breathing heavily he went over the events of the last day in his head.

Images of Mr. d'Heresson off in the fiields flashed through Mr. Gunner's head. Were there two red beedy eyes in the dark...? Was Mr. d'Heresson talking to some creature??? A wave of naseua washed over Mr. Gunner's body as he feared for his life.

Mr. d'Heresson must be the vampire!" Mr. Gunner said outloud to the empty room. Poor Ms. Snowflake!

Mr. Gunner glanced around the room nervously. He walked over to his luggage, pulled out a laptop and connected to his home office. He accssed several historical databases of the region. After several hours of searches and reading mundane articles, there seemed to be no leads.

                            ***CRASH***

Mr. Gunner jumped up in a start. He panicked as he couldn't remember where he had put his handgun. Sweat beaded on his forehead. Alas, he found his gun on the inside pocket of the coat he was wearing. Quickly he pulled out the gun, flipped the safety off, ran to the door and pulled the door open quickly.

Mr. Gunner raised his arm as the door opened, saw a dark shape in the hall, as he started to squeeze the trigger, he realized it was Mr. Tacticus.

"Sir, you almost gave me a heart attack!" said Mr. Gunner.

"My apologies, I was simply installing these cameras as part of the security upgrades. Mr. Tacticus remained frozen as the handgun was pointed right at his body. Mr. Gunner detected no concern from Mr. Tacticus, despite a gun being pointed at him.

Mr. Gunner looked at Mr. Tacticus suspiciously. He wouldn't admit it, but he was curious of the abilities of this seasoned security expert. Mr. Gunner reminded himself that he was more interested in history and philosophy, not guns and violence.

Mr. Gunner reset the safety on the handgun, lowered the weapon. "Sir Tacticus, I must tell you, as our security expert, I suspect Mr. d'Heresson is up to no good." Mr. Gunner continued, "Please focus extra attention on him. He's out of the castle during odd hours and his behavior is suspicous.

With that, Mr. Gunner turned and walked back into his room...returning to his online research.

                            • As mr d'Heresson felt tired after the last night's events,
He sat on a nice bench under a window in the castle.
A shreds of a conversation, kept in a confidential tone, could be heard. "Is it mine name that I've heard?" he thought, when he fell into sleep

                              • Mr. Gunner woke up. Obviously he had fallen asleep on his laptop, the screen saver blazed images of mythical imagery...some of his favorite mysteries of humanity. It was dark outside. He felt cold. As Mr. Gunner rose to his feet, his hand brushed against the keyboard and the screen saver turned off.....what was visible on the screen?

Mr. Gunner leaned down to take a look.... he read the name GEOMODDER on the screen. Mr. Gunner glanced around the room.... he had not typed that name on the screen. It creeped him out that someone was in his room while he was asleep. Mr. Gunner walked over to the door and attempted to open the door. It was locked!!!!

Mr. Gunner ran to the window and looked out. He looked out the window at the darkened scenery. Two stories up was too high for anyone to climb up. Mr. Gunner thought... unless they had climbing gear and were very able bodied...and had a motive to leave Geomodder's name.... but who?

Mr. Gunner's face changed from confusion and uncertainity, to terror. I know who the other vampire is!!!! But who do I tell... Mr. Gunner grabbed a sheet of paper, quickly wrote down a few words. Briskly, he walked up to the door, unlocked it, and ran down the hall...leaving the door open.

Mr. Gunner ran down the stairs and found his way into the dining hall. Mr. Gunner grabbed one of the short swords that adorned the hallways and walls of this castle and in one motion held the paper on the table and sunk the sword into the paper and wooden dining table. As he walked back to his room, it all seemed clear. Mr. Tacticus was rarely around, was not scared of the handgun, was very quiet. He hoped he would not be discovered as the author of this accusation.
