I don't read reviews anymore because they don't dare to tell you how bad most games are.

So I'd just find an evaluation copy to test a game out.

Demos don't tell the full story though. I played the demo of Majesty multiple times, enjoyed it and then bought the full game. Much to my horror, I discovered that the full game didn't add anything more.

So I try full versions before I buy the game. If the 'demo' holds my interest for long enough, I will buy the game even if I don't end up installing it. I really hate swapping cds.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Hehe, another reason why I can't rely on Apolyton to give me good game advice. I thought Majesty was innovative and lots of fun, especailly with the expansion set. Playing a RTS where you couldn't micromanage your units really appealed to me.

or enough of them to get a good overview, much more objective than any magazine/website review
