Yeah, SH, I was worried that you might do that, (not much since it would have hurt us both) By taking it wide, you can't slip the next turn, but I'm sure there will be opportunities later.
In your position, I might have been tempted to do the same thing.

Sent, and resent, please use the amended orders. I sent the first one thinking i was headed east already. Quickly modified when I checked and resent.

Sent orders that actually might keep me on the track.
We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

I am looking ahead a ways and see an area that I am not sure how it would be resolved...
by the rules above I can use RLRL in one turn and only use up one Wild card, but do these need to be together? Or if you have a speed of say 7, could you RmLmRmL and only use one wild card or do the turns have to be consecutive(?sp)?

Also same question without using a wild card:
You can use a right and a left int he same turn without using a wildcard, but do they need to be consecutive? Or again with a speed of 7, could your orders be: mR(m3)Lm and not use a wild card?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Traditionally they do not have to be together.

And just so you don't feel bad, included in my orders this morning to Jonny was the same question about it only being 1 wc. That's the way it's always been done, but after not knowing the multiple wc rules last game (which cost me the race), I figured I should pay more attention this time. I would prefer that stupidity doesn't cost me another one.

And we both know why that question is asked.

Correct, the RLRL doesn't have to be consecutive for it to only cost 1 WC.

What exactly is "doing a Chaunk"? And why is it forbidden?
Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all!

A "Chaunk" is the term for a driver driving off the side of a bridge. For obvious reasons, it results in disqualification.

and he did it a couple of races ago (IV perhaps??) as he was far out of the race which was nearly over and wanted to go down in flames I suppose

                  Edit:
Here it is...Race IV indeed (kinda funny to read the previous posts, as he knew he was out of it and wanted to go out with a bang so to speak

                    Sent.

At last. Sorry everyone - I was off work with a horrible cold yesterday, and didn't think to take my laptop to bed with me so I could play Nascar.

Once again, there were no crashes or other incidents.

On the left track, Spaced, Gambcube, and Ljube are following each other through the outside of the turn. Meanwhile on the right track, rah takes the lead by choosing to accelerate through the serpentine track; but this may eventually prove to be very costly in WC terms.

Now accepting orders for turn 5.
