Too many rules can ruin a game. This game is more fun than competitive. Explain to me: Why no to plurals and yes to gerunds or past participles?

You can't have those, they are plurals.

This is why I suggested that rule 7 should read:

            7. Incorrect word guesses don't count as losing a life.

I still consider it a better solution than limiting the scope of eligible words.

            • Why bother guessing letters then?

              • Because if you guess the word wrong, you are out of contention for that word.

                • Ljube that's not a good suggestion, and certainly not as a response to the fact that certain groups of letters have lots of words that fit them. It's a good strategy to pick such words, and usually in doing so you give up the chance to pick words with nasty letters in them.

                  • I want another word, not a discussion (especially that my point was not taken into consideration at all)

                    • The word here can still be singular though:

Morph, porch, world and corps all fit.

OK, I'll agree to that, if you agree to allow plurals.
