Magic spells or conversational gambits can allow the player to hide in the shadows while a mind-controlled human does the dirty work (and probably gets killed in the process).
This made me giggle with anticipation
    Who is Barinthus?

I just noticed that they even implemented the humanity meter from the pen and paper rpg. Vampires are always fighting against their inner beast in order to stay human. If you do something bad, like killing someone, you have a chance to lose a part of your humanity. The lower it gets the more bestial you become, and the harder it is to control your temper. If your humanity drops to zero, you have been completely overwhelmed by the Beast inside.

I think that was implemented in the previous Vampire game already

I wonder what happens in the game when you have been overwhelmed by your inner Beast?
