  • My God... (Halo related)

Most people experienced with the game of Halo say that the Belly of the Beast checkpoint on the Truth and Reconciliation level is the single hardest checkpoint in the game. It's a checkpoint after you board an enemy ship. You and a few marines get locked in a room with four doors, and then attackers come in from all sides. Often they are Gold Elites, the strongest killing machines in the enemy forces. Most people take a dozen tries just to get through the checkpoint, and lose most of their marines in the process.

Anyway, I'm fairly good at the game, but this person is simply unbelievable. He went through the checkpoint, on the Legendary level, without firing a shot. What's more, he finished with full health. And lastly, he didn't lose a single marine. I am in awe.

    Holy ****

That checkpoint can take a piar of people dozens of tries to beat on legendary. It's serious business.
    John Brown did nothing wrong.

      He meleed the hunters.

And his grenade aim is NUTS.

Meleeing hunters to death is not too hard. It only takes 13 melees, and it takes fewer if you do running or running-jump melees.

His grenade aim is unreal. He has made a few other videos, and they're just as incredible.

Not very impressive. Myself and several of my friends can do the same thing. The playing is great, no doubt, but it's not unreal by any means.

Really? That level, that part, without shooting, on legendary?

If you can do that, kudos to you.

I've seen alot of amazing video game recordings, but I wouldn't rank this as one of them. The only thing that really amazed me is that the AI marines managed not to kill themselves. Other than that... wow, he's got alot of grenades. I can't say I'm really impressed by using grenades over a gun. Grenades are better.

He didn't have extra grenades, he just picked up new ones from fallen enemies.

Impressive. Who would ever think of doing that?

BTW this guy released another video today. He's now made 5 total I think. This new one is his best. The high points: He ricochets a sniper bullet off a stationary shield to kill a Special Ops Elite. He makes a jump completely across the Assault on the Control Room chasm. And lastly, at the very very end of the video (after all the outtakes) he makes the best plasma grenade throw in the history of the game. It's completely unreal.
