  • Clue 1: Late 80s spectrum game where you have to escape.
Clue 2: There were allegedly (according to the instructions) 2 ways to escape, but you needed to do both, so there was in fact only one way.

    Clue 3: Brush your teeth!

Clue 4: Second in a series, but not with 2 in the title.

Clue 5: The way to escape from your surroundings involved overcoming obstacles to get to someone who could help you. However you also needed to pay him in gold, so the "second" way to escape had to be completed too. Gold was hidden all around the game.

clue 6: Strangely, you only had one life in this game. Completing the whole thing with no saves and no chances if you accidentally ran into a bad guy was challenging.

Clue 7: You are making this too hard.

Clue 8: You had to use your brain in this game, unlike you lot at the moment.

Clue 9 - The person you had to reach with the gold had a boat.

    Clue 10: Platform/Adventure.

Nope - not a scoobies what this might be so far?

    • Druid 2?
Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

        • Quite!

I'm running out of non-obvious clues. Can I stress again that you should be able to get this game as it isn't obscure.

                        • Come on guys........late 80s adventure style sequel in a well known series. You had to escape, using a boat. You only had 1 life in this game (itself unusual).

I'm not giving up on this one as I'm sure people here know it.
