Round 10: The Calm Before the Storm

This turn was one of only two this game to have proceeded with no combat at all. However, this was not for want of trying, as both Smiley and Geomodder committed their entire fleets to an assault against joncha. However, as they were heading for him at full tilt, their sensors showed strange energy emissions ahead of them. Before they had time to wonder what was happening, their scouting ships ran headlong into a shield that encompassed the entirety of joncha’s empire. One of Spaced’s Titans was destroyed by the collision, with another suffering minor damage.

Meanwhile, this round also saw the first ever use of spies, with both Smiley and Geomodder sending them against joncha. However, they met the same fate as the Spaced/Geomodder attack fleet, slamming into a shield they could not see and being obliterated.
