Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
The rule should be x amount of time, unless you notify us beforehand that you will be away. I don't have an issue with a planned absence, it is the MIAs that are bothersome.
Theben, can you please keep the current HP left in the update?
We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.
If there’s a next time- for anyone- it WILL be a lot harder.
I'm thinking the next time will be in the 5-10 hp range, depending.
And as long as you notify me beforehand, you'll be all good.
No commentary on the round? On my interpretation of Spaced orders? How about the Theory of Gravity being set back 1500 years? I thought Spike would at least say something about that!

The Ram started to get annoyed with Spacius. “Will you quit your blubbering and fight?!” He took a quick swing at him, and connected with his shoulder. At that same moment, he felt a sharp, searing pain burst in his chest and rip out behind him. Staring down with a look of disbelief, he saw that Spacius’s sword had pierced him straight through his torso, exiting his back.
“You didn’t really fall for that old chestnut, now, did you?” gloated Spacius, with a complacent smirk on his face. He pulled his sword out, taking a meaty chunk with it. “Are you ready to die?”
The veteran warrior barreled straight forward. The Ram seemed uncertain what to do, except to brace for the attack. The crowd leaned forward, expectantly.
Spoiler:
With a bloodthirsty gleam in his eye, Spacius howled madly and swung at the Ram. The Ram’s eyes widened as he watched the blade arcing through the air, seeking to strike. He lifted his shield at the last moment and it absorbed the full fury of the blow, shattering it to pieces. It was not enough, as he felt a line drawn across his neck.
He reached up and grabbed his throat- just a scratch. Thank the Gods! Unbeknownst to him at that moment, he had unwittingly slashed at Spacius during the attack, drawing blood.
“Get the hell away from me!!” The Ram swung violently, connecting square in the jaw, knocking back his opponent. He was sweating hard now, death having looked him square in the eye.
Spacius was feeling worse for the wear as well, and seemed somewhat disappointed his foe wasn’t dead.
The Ram has taken 48 points of damage, with 48 hit points remaining. Spacius Maximus received 29 damage, to slip down to 60 hit points.
Someone’s death is approaching, but it is still close enough to be either player. Send for Round 5.

The Doctor looked pretty peeved at the brute. “I’ll get back with you later.” He picked up his shield and dashed out to meet Bob head-on. Bob braced for the attack.
It was then the Doctor employed his Spinning Shield tactic. Discarding defense completely, he wielded the shield with two hands, starting a slow spin that became faster and faster. Soon the edge was a whirlwind of razor sharp teeth, as deadly as a sawblade and able to cut through metal the same as paper. Bob realized his danger and leapt backward, but not fast enough as the Doctor cut him cruelly across the chest.
Bob’s reached into his glove and whipped at concealed dagger at the Doctor as he passed. Not being able to recover quickly enough, the blade struck him in the back, although not very deeply.
Incensed, the Doctor came around once more. Bob sought to escape but the Doctor caught up to him, and once more the spinning shield cut deeply into Bob’s flesh, across his back and down his leg. The only response Bob could offer was a weak stab with his sword as the Doc went by.
The Doctor took 8 damage and is at 73 hps. Bob took 30 damage and drops to 35.
Bob’s in trouble now- he’d better reconsider his tactics or get really lucky.

I don't really think tactics are the issue here in so much as luck is.
It would seem the veterans disagree with you, as do I. You may wish to rethink your position.

That's just it, there can be no invincible combination. Of course there is some luck (like when I lose ) but it's not correct to say there is little skill in the game. The skill is in flexibility, constant deduction, and above all second guessing.
Anyway, probably this discussion is poorly timed. Let's discuss it further after the tournament.

Oh, and here I was going to explain it to him with an example via PM. You don't mind if I use your latest orders, do you?
