I agree - Bethseda are probably one of the better chances for Fallout3. Just hope it wont detract from the attention that TES4 should get.
I would call this a welcome bit of good news in my bleak world of games

Bush's Republican=Neo-con for all intent and purpose. be afraid.
I'm a little concerned, as they stated in an interview on IGN that they were going to stick to "gaming styles they know," implying to me that Fallout3 could be more Morrowind-y in style, which is somewhat worrisome...
I think we can say goodbye to isometric Fallout, but since Bethesda actually make games instead of half finishing them before cancelling, at least it will hit the shelves so we can play and criticise it. The last attempt was at least the third time Fallout 3 was specced up and dropped by Interplay
That reminds me, weren't there a couple of other wasteland games in production? Maybe one of them can become champion of the isometric game design school
Wow. I guess I have become old and jaded. Game announcements used to excite me. Now I have more of a wait-and-see-what-a-piece-of-crap-they-build attitude.

sounds good to me. Though they are an entirely different style of company. the game may not look the same. But I think the game needs some fresh changes. I have hope this game will turn out well.

Of course it's not going to be the same. But at least it will be atmospheric. Not the ideal company, but I don't really like what Bioware has put out recently anyway. Troika might be best, but it would be up in the air.
About ES4. It's supposedly about Oblivion. From the book On Oblivion:

Goody, now Fallout will look really pretty and have enough bugs to make it nearly unplayable . Bethesda desperately needs to hire some PROGRAMMERS to complement its designers.
what bugs? True, I played later, after the serveral patches. If there were bugs, the patches seemed to clean them up. I didn't notice any. Of course I still haven't finished the game . I got bored of it.
