I've been meaning to get this game due to raves I've heard about this one. Is it fairly easy to find in stores? I don't recall seeing any copies.

Good stuff! Lockpicking really really helps, 150% increase in efficiency.
Spoiler:I have a feeling that bro doesn't like me though... I was practically on top of some NSF that surrendered when I heard them talking about how John had ordered boobytraps to stop "him". Good stuff. Not very good at non-lethal takedowns though... those tranq darts seem to take forever to take effect leaving plenty of time for the enemy to come attack me.I changed my signature

Re: Tranqs - Skanky is correct. They're best used in areas where you have lots of room to run away - sneak around a corner, hit somebody, then run away again. Your target should collapse before they reach you. If there's no room to run, you may be better off using the Riot Prod - sneak up behind someone, and you can take them down in one blow (usually).

is this game that good? should I get it?
first of all, let me get the required questions out of the way.
Is it a rpg? tbs? shooter or rts? Only the first two of that list do I play regularly. Can the game be paused? Although this isn't as critical as it used to be for me (I've become used to not pausing in mmorpg's for example), it's still nice to have.

1) It's something of a cross between an RPG and an FPS; it has the character-improvement elements of an RPG (you improve your skills, customise your weapons, and cybernetically augment yourself as the game goes on), while being played from a first-person perspective.
2) Yes, it can be paused, using either ESC (main menu) or by going to the Inventory screen.

If that were the case, then why did the PC version have that "vibration" option that I so often bring up? Vibrating keyboards are not that common

Never played Thief either. How is this game?
If you do see it or even Thief 2, make sure to grab it immediately. It should be at a bargain price and even now is a highly polished game. The graphics may look a tad dated compared to Doom 3 or such, but the gameplay is unsurpassed.I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

TNT
I was off exploring, minding my own business, and I decided to take some TNT crates off of some cardboard boxes to check out their contents safely. Being my usual stupid self I placed them by the door, and jumped on top to be able to open the door. I pull... I boom...
