There's tonnes of game after that! Reinstall and play, or else.

If you're having trouble with something like that, it's what www.gamefaqs.com was created for.

I haven't played the whole game yet, but what I've played was excellent!

As my one-year exile from Sweden is about to end, I'll soon be firing up my desktop and Deus Ex again! *drool*

I also have Thief, but haven't installed it yet. Heard lots of good stuff about it...

the best part of the game is the end. you really need to try to get past the prison cell part.

Oh, definitely. What are you having trouble with, in particular?

It's a while since i played (an excuse to reinstall and start again) but i kept getting killed by the guards after getting out of the cell. Couldn't sneak past but only had a knife or something which wasn't enough to fight them off and then more arrive anyway - maybe i have to finish off the lone guard quicker ?

I seem to recall that you take down the lone guard while the other one is distracted... then take his weapon... use his weapon to take down the other guard while avoiding the camera to the left.

Once the guards are down, you sneak out of there, making sure the camera doesn't catch you... from there, you either use the grate in the floor to travel around in one direction toward the labs or you (preferably) head around the other direction to get your EQUIPMENT being held past the room with the military bots (sneaking highly recommended over fighting...).

                You'll figure it out.

Better yet, get through without hurting anyone. So no tranq darts and prod either . It's possible, except for Anna Navarra and Howard Strong.

A nice challenge, but it's more fun killing baddies.

Do you mean the guard right outside the cell? I only recall there being one, and he isn't hard to take out if you can get him from behind.

If you mean the guards in the robotic maintenance bay - don't even bother trying to fight. Just sneak as far as you can across the place, then, when you're spotted, run for the exit. Find a door to the armoury that the bots aren't watching, hack the panel, kill the guard inside, then grin evilly as you retrieve all of your confiscated equipment, plus a few extras. Then go to town on the facility.

That depends on difficulty level if I recall correctly. I could be wrong about that, of course.

Bingo. First get your equipment, THEN fight your captors. Fighting them before retreving your equipment is probably a bad idea...

Really? I was sure that the only thing the difficulty level affected was the amount of damage you could take before dying. Guess I'll have to check when I get up to that bit on Realistic.

I played through on realistic, and don't recall any extra guards in there.
Then again, it was a while ago so my memory isn't exactly fresh.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Well, I've played through the first couple of levels on Realistic, and I haven't noticed any more enemies than usual.
