        • Turn has been delayed somewhat. Hopefully I can get it done after work.

          EDIT: Please elaborate, LL.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

          • 80 torpedo's against 54 lasers perhaps? The first round of battle?

            • Yes, it was 40 torpedoes against 54 lasers, then third round 48 torpedoes against 40 lasers, both in my favour and final round was supposed to be 20 fighters against 9 fighters in favour of Joncha.

              • Well, let's see...

                Rounds 1-2:

                20 torpedoes x 2 (vs. lasers) x 2 (LL bunched his ships) = 80. No problem.

                27 lasers x 2 (close in) = 54. No problem.

                Rounds 3-4:

                20 lasers x 2 (close in) = 40 lasers. No problem.

                24 torpedoes x 2 (vs. lasers) x 0.5 (spread out) = 24 torpedoes. No problem.

                Round 5-6:

                20 fighters x 0.5 (bunch up) = 10 fighters. No problem.

                9 fighters x 2 (spread out) = 18 fighters. No problem.

                So where are the miscalculations?

                • As GT pointed out, you forgot to take into account tactics. Update fairly soon now.

                  • No spread and bunch cancell each other out.

                    • If it were torpedoes on fighters, then yes, they would. In other circumstances (as happened here), they don't.

EDIT: You may be thinking of Close In/Back Off, which do negate each other.

                      • Here are my orders

So, my orders are to defend, stockpile, build a shield generator, LLTTFF, close in, bunch together, die.

                        • OK, it was my mistake.

                          • So this round you probably have built a station and raised your shield...

                            Luckily I stayed at home.
