looks and sounds interesting - the preview at gamespot made me think of the Sims in ancient egypt
I kinda like the graphics(i must be playing my xbox too much ), but sometimes the character models dont really blend in with thier surroundings properly? Still i'm sure they will polish it up a bit. One to keep an eye on
And no - i hadn't noticed this before so cheers Adagio'The very basis of the liberal idea – the belief of individual freedom is what causes the chaos' - William Kristol, son of the founder of neo-conservitivism, talking about neo-con ideology and its agenda for you.info here. prove me wrong.

Damn you ADG, I just posted in someone's thread on CotN, and then there you go starting your own about it.
Okay, I noticed this baby a looong time ago, and been following it ever since.
I'm really excited about it because I've played all citybuilders since Caesar 2, and they are cool. I also like the team a lot. They are the same old guys from Impressions, and their interaction with the community is superb. The devs post on the official forums a lot and give out some juicy bits of info on a regular basis, and that is really cool.
(Check out the forums here:
)
From all the info I've seen, I must say that this game is going to be different gameplay-wise. Like the Gamespot preview says, they are concentrating on individual people rather than abstract society systems as before. That will hopefully introduce a whole new dynamic into the game, and make it so much more fun to play.
On the graphics side of things, it is somewhat disappointing. They are using the Empire Earth engine. Quite frankly, I never liked the way it looked back when it came out; now I like it even less. However, the developers assure us that they have revamped some code, and made it look all cool. I don't know, we will see on that one.
All in all, definitely something to keep an eye on.

This looks promising; I like the time setting. I only hope it does not have the Simcity gameplay but rather the old caesar-pharaoh gameplay
The graphics look rather ok to me, they're not that bad are they Adagio? For a citybuilder I'd say it looks nice!"An archaeologist is the best husband a women can have; the older she gets, the more interested he is in her." - Agatha Christie

Noway. Caesar III (I presume you mean that one) and Pharaoh were not 3D; and they're pretty old games now. Noway those gfx are better!"An archaeologist is the best husband a women can have; the older she gets, the more interested he is in her." - Agatha Christie

Any way, I think Pharaoh's graphics are done in style and quite well. They were better than the cartoonish looks of Zeus, for instance. But like I said, it is mostly a subjective matter any way.
