This was enough to google the game, so I'm out of contention for this one. In addition to this, not only have I never played it, but have not even heard about it.

    Good luck to everyone else.

    • It is a little tricky, but I thought the players here would have got it with such blatant clues.

      • well it seems even Cap is struggling with this one - so that leaves you as the person most likely to guess it(on current form)

I've got a feeling i'm going to have heard of this game when its revealed.......frustrating

The game 'Nutz' seems to spring to mind, but all i can remember about it is that it was a platform game.

out of intrest how much bigger than a squirrel is your character(using real world scale)?

        • It has to be an elephant, doesn't it?

          Or a monkey, possibly.

          • We are, of course, playing name the game, not name the animal. So?

I think there are enough clues. Just in case it might help it was a Codemasters game.

            • Did I give up before? Damn, I think I did. But I remember it now! Can I still play?

Oh, just in case of any doubt: Did the game feature an eponymous animal?

              • Yes. As long as you haven't googled it (which by now must be very easy) your answer is valid.

                • No, no.
I must wait until all others have tried first. Otherwise it would be unfair, and people might accuse us both of using this important and fun thread to increase our (your) postcounts.

                  • Please put us out of our misery, Duke. We've been stuck on this for about 2 weeks now. Time to move on!
We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

                        • Yes, it is:

                          CJ's elephant antics

I don't understand why you wanted to wait if you knew it without cheating.

                          Over to Duke.

                          • Well I didn't know the whole title, had posted quite a bit in this thread, and wasn't even sure it was right.
It was the Codemasters bit that gave it away really, even though I had already decided the hero was na elephant.

Clue 1) You had to jump about and catch fairies!

Proper first clue: Another platformer, on Amiga, ST and Amstrad.
