    I'd say no. This is because bombard ranges should be calculated in the same way as vision ranges - that way if you have a sight range of two and can't see any enemies then you know you can't be bombarded by anything with a bombard range of at most 2.

    With regard to the auto-move feature: I don't find it useful at all. Perhaps a poll is in order?

      A poll on auto-move seems in order. I actually find it not only never useful, but also potentially annoying. All it does, IMO, is make order processing in the code more complex.

        Maybe instead of a poll we just find someone that does like the auto-move and why. Maybe Tamerlin the purist?

          Id like the traditional way to measure distance, mostly because it would be highly inconsistent with the rest of the game not to.

              It is up and running, but it's also not working properly. I think most coding is on hold until the svn server is all sorted out.

                  I had the bombardment code working (AI and everything) but late one night I was editing and screwed up. I'm sure it's recoverable. (And this new SVN thing should largely eliminate gaffs like this.)
