    Right... that works... when you include the tileimps freight values, the valuations make sense.

      The Big Mc
      Slave trading has long time been a dream of many people (to represent real world)
      Looks like the dev team was thinking along these lines too:

      Code:
      enum ROUTE_TYPE {
      	ROUTE_TYPE_RESOURCE,
      	ROUTE_TYPE_FOOD,
      	ROUTE_TYPE_GOLD,
      	ROUTE_TYPE_SLAVE,
      };
      There's a lot of unimplemented stuff in the source.

        Well were one with slave trading again I would like to see a new screen were you can move slaves and people around may bring an element of realism to the game.

        We could also allow for evacuation of complete cities something which must other civ games do by the movement of settlers.

        we may need a new thread then unimplemented ideas by activision.

          Add landmines and sea mines, as well units that defuse them to that list.

            More than the slave thing, it looks like you can trade food, gold, resources etc. Something that was discussed before.

              Yeah, although for trade of food and gold, it would probably need some AI adaptation to prevent human exploiting. And then, we can actually get to implement the civ-3 style strategic resources someday.

                  I think everyone likes the general idea behind the strategic resources, it's just that the model can be ehanced and the implementation can be made better compared to Civ 3.

                        You know the one.

                        eg without oil we would have found something else to power are car.

                          Ahh that . Well, but implementing that in CtP would be crazy .

                            yes which is why there should be an option to turn strategic goods off.

                              With SLIC and all the text files, we can always create options. But the idea of having oil to have tanks is more fun than the idea that your people would have created something else anyway .
