A few years ago I was thinking how it would be cool if someone did a Master of Magic mod for Call to Power since it has the zoomed in combat and in the case of CTP1 the space layer that could maybe be somehow replaced with Myrror world graphics. However I know nothing of CTP modding and already have a million other modding projects on the go for other Civ games haha so I never pursued the idea, so it's great to see someone else was. Hope you come back to this one day!
Oh and as for the concern over mod hosting these days, yeah there's no longer an Apolyton downloads section however a couple of years ago I asked the CivFanatics admins to make CTP1&2 download sections there and I uploaded a whole bunch of classic CTP mods there. I'm a moderator there these days doing a lot of scenario/mod preservation work so I hope to add more classic CTP mods there one day too!
Oh and there's always ModDB these days too which has barely used CTP1 & 2 sections just waiting for someone to utilise them...
