Anyone have any alternatives by any chance? Other than Civ of course. I would prefer to have future tech like in CTP.

It's definitely not dead. CtP2 can be played on Windows 10. And probably Win 11. Indeed.. while things are pretty quite here and over in the CTP area at CivFanatics the CTP community does live on at the CTP Discord and there's also a CTP Facebook & Reddit group that get a bit of activity too.
