    what do you think (withing the decided upon treats of happiness and production bonus) of the Celts (monarchy), the Irish (Theocracy) or the Nubians (Theocratic Monarchy)?
    These are all possible with ancient traits of +5% production and +2 happiness:

    ==================

    name - middle ages path - description

    HITTITE; - Caliphate - strong in science, special units, Janissary and Mameluke, allows a later government of Sultanate with special unit, Saphia, larger empire but less science.

    CELT; - Monarchy - strong in science, special unit, Longbow.

    HEBREW; - Theocracy - strong in military special units, Teutonic Knight and Knight Templar.

    SHANG; - Dynastic Empire - productive, special unit, Samurai.

    NUBIA; - Theocratic Monarchy - Happy, with cheap units eagle Archer and eagle Warrior. Note. You cannot choose this government when you research Dark Ages.

    KUSH; - Dynastic Empire - productive, special unit, Samurai.

    IRISH; - Theocracy - strong in military special units, Teutonic Knight and Knight Templar.

    CHINESE; - Dynastic Empire - productive, special unit, Samurai.

    ==================

    Of those, I'd like to try Nubia. Even more extra happiness and (good?) cheap units. Plus it sounds like newbie, which is fitting for me and Protra.

    I don't want to delay even longer (I know, my (ISP's) fault it wasn't started yesterday), so I'll wait a couple of hours from now to hear other suggestions or preferences, make sure everythings working on my end, then set it up with Nubia if I don't hear any objections.
