The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

Could be a good idea, incorporating it with playtesting.
Ive played 170 odd turns without using any mods with the latest playtest and no major bugs so far.

I think the emphasis is on the tournament rather than the playtesting. It would be hard to go back to any form of CtP2 before the playtests for me. Watching the AI place farms on random rings makes me cringe now! (not really).

If we can attract more players by using the playtest I'm all for it. If not, we can use the playtest anyways, though there are reports (from me and others) in the playtesting thread there are some problems with it. We can always use the 1.11 game patch instead.
I just want to get started as soon as possible when it looks like theres going to be a reasonable amount of participation.
Only one man wanted to eat one hundred bees, id call 2 people high participation around here besides, the tournaments usually have a one month deadline, so its not like people cant just jump in.
Ill play any map/mod/civ.
