  • Anyone interested in a Succession Game?

... using Super Apolyton Pack 2.0 (possibly + GoodMod and/or Updater) or some version of Cradle, or other mods may be considered.

Detailed accounts are not necessary, but a timeline of what has been built/researched/moved would be required from each player.

We could start off with 20-50 turns each (depending on amount of players) to begin with, then later in the game 10-20 etc all to be decided. Of course pointless if no ones interested

The idea is interesting though I have never joined a succession game before.

So far I have never tested the Cradle, I have only played the SAP2 with the Updater so another mod would be less friendly to me... and to my successor.

Don't be scared - A Succession game is a great way to learn a new mod .

I would be interested, but I've only got the Apolyton Edition installed at the moment, and that's liable to be buggy and/or undergoing strange changes (I have to keep my version up to date)...

I havent tried Cradle in a while so that makes 2 of us on the (re)learning curve if we were to use it.

I reckon we need at least 4 players to make it interesting.

The previous CtP2 Succession Games, although I couldnt figure out what happened to 4 and from what i understand there were so many players #2 was split into 2 teams.

          Game #1

          Game #2a
          Game #2b

          Game #3

          Game #4?

          Game #5

          Game #6

how about CTC? I think its more entertaining than the other mods(with all the events and such) and it also has a challenging AI. The problem with it, at least for me, is that it seems to become a bit unstable in the later game.

You needn't worry too much about that - Succession games here are unlikely to reach the later game . (I think that one was finished, but only under exceptional circumstances...)

From all those experimental MP mods?

I have 5 at the moment, but the debug sourcecode will be coming off soon. I just dont like having all the mods mixed together using modswapper. Itll be great when we can use mods from the scenarios folder

                      Might be interrested as well.

But shall we play with one of the new playtest version, or shall we stick with the normal Activision version?

What shall be the frequency, to pass over?

Id rather not use the playtest yet, just because its more stable without it for now.

3 days wouldnt be too bad, would it?

Three days is fine with me but I hope we will be able to go faster than that. How are we going to transfer the save, by posting here or emailing to the next player?

Id prefer posting here so we all have access to any save game.

If Gilg is in perhaps we can start voting on settings.
