I have pulled down my CtP after half a year or so, and now...

I want to hear, what patches and mods and stuff should I install?
(win98)

I can ofcourse play it only with original game and patch 1.2 or a newer one.
But what is the common thing to play with for people?

i would like to second this request, particularly the part about the mods. 1.21 hack, apolyton pack, cd's mod, aaips, nordicus' trade goods, new units... i hear about these, and i'm wondering what does everyone recommend, especially for multiplayer, and what order things should be installed in.

basically, there's a lot of stuff that i see available, and i don't know where to start, at all.

The 1.21 Patch
The Apolyton Pack
The Medieval Mod
Nordicus' Trade Goods
My own stuff

But What about the "Awesome AIPs" mentioned in the link you gave WesW?
If I should install AAIP when in the process should I install them. And which one, the AAIP CD.s mod, or the AAIP Original or the AAIP pack?

5. Unit Graphics for CD's Mod
or
5. Unit Graphics 1.1
Wich one should it be? (my guess is the first one)

6. Harlan's Graphic Mod 1.0
7. PowerSLICs 2.00
8. Colors
9. World Map(24 civs)
10. Eastern Mediterranean
11. Medieval Mod 2.1

The order should be:
1) CTP
2) CTP 1.2 Patch
3) Civfan 1.21 Hack
4) Apolyton Pack
which includes: CD's Mod & Graphics, TP's PowerSLIC 2, Harlan's Graphics Mod, Slax's Color00.txt and Zaz & Uppsala's Maps)
5) WesW's Medieval Mod
(which includes Awesome AIPs)

If you do not install the Medieval Mod, you need to install the AwesomeAIPs(Pack Version, not CD's or Original).
